‘Sandman‘ is the debut single from songwriter/multi-instrumentalist H.L. Grail! The track was written in a seaside apartment in Portsmouth in an attempt to make sense of a traumatic long-term relationship. ‘Sandman’ starts off as a more delicate acoustic track, but layers of instrumentation including strings and piano build this short but sweet track into something much bigger.
