Track of the Day #1043: Eyesore & The Jinx – An Ideas Man

Liverpool trio Eyesore & The Jinx returned today with their long-awaited new single ‘An Ideas Man‘. In true Eyesore & The Jinx fashion, ‘An Ideas Man’ is an explosive track with monotonous, jaunty guitars and attitude-filled shouty vocals. ‘An Ideas Man’ is taken from the band’s forthcoming 7″ single alongside ‘Do What You Love’ which is set for release on 5th May 2023

Speaking of the track, Josh Miller of Eyesore & The Jinx has said: “Inspired by the post-pandemic explosion of #PropertyTok, ‘An Ideas Man’ is about the cult of landlordism and a parasitic ideology which has become pervasive in its wake. It’s about exploitation masquerading as philanthropy and the pursuit of a passive income which has become celebrated rather than shamed. In short, it’s about how much I fucking hate landlords.”
