Track of the Day #1040: Rare Monk – Coronation

Portland, OR’s Rare Monk returned this week with their first new music since their brilliant album ‘Never Really Over’! ‘Coronation‘ sees the band return with this melancholic slow-burner with an unusual time signature. The track grows into something quite spectacular as it builds and the last few minutes of the track are epic in true Rare Monk style. ‘Coronation’ is taken from Rare Monk’s forthcoming EP of the same name which is set for release later in the year.
