Discover: Oliver Marson – Blue Dreams

Today London based musician Oliver Marson released their latest single ‘Blue Dreams‘. It’s a dark synth-pop track with an atmospheric, yet weighty demeanour. But ‘Blue Dreams’ also has a laid-back, waltz-y side to it as well.

Speaking of the track, Oliver Marson has said: “I wrote this one whilst staring at a canister of Blue Dreams on my coffee table after work. The song ended up being a dark fantasy about burning down my office job for the insurance money (a bit like in office space). At the end I blurt out the words “Why did I choose this?”, which is kind of a desperate call out for some kind of change. I think a lot of people end up feeling like this in their jobs, relationships and life choices, especially at the moment.”
