Fake Turins (neu waves)

When and where? Thursday 10th November – The Loft, Southsea

In brief: London based 11-piece art-rock band Fake Turins return to The Loft, Southsea bringing their laid-back, yet danceable tunes to the venue. The band released their latest single ‘Built To Touch’ last week.

Mystic Peach + Defcon Lawless (Honeymooner)

When and where? Friday 11th November – Joiners, Southampton

In brief: Southampton favourites return home bringing their intense, psych-punk live show back to the city. They’ll also be joined by Defcon Lawless, a UK based experimental hip-hop artist for this co-headline show.

Interstellar Food Drive (Crocodile Nightmares, Mark Kellett, Strong Island Recordings, Velvet Candy and Vol.)

When and where? Saturday 12th November – Staggeringly Good Brewery, Portsmouth

In brief: An all-day event featuring some of the best local bands and art. Interstellar Food Drive is in aid of Portsmouth Food Bank, it’s an event that shouldn’t have to happen, but here we are.

Lineup: Barbudo, Slim Things, Paul Groovy & The Art Pop Experience, Rose’s Diary, Happy2000, Number 9, Making Eye, Halliwell and Spike Zephaniah & ‘Runchtacular’.

When and where? Saturday 19th November – The Railway Inn, Winchester

In brief: One of the most exciting live bands around, Portsmouth based art-rock/post-punk band return to Winchester in a few weeks.

Mr Ben & The Bens (Calamity Cratediggers)

When and where? Thursday 24th November – The Edge of the Wedge, Portsmouth

In brief: Mr Ben & The Bens create nostalgic and charming indie, folk-pop. The band are set to release their latest EP ‘A Good Day For Drying’ later this month.
