Track of the Day #931: Ditz – The Warden

A couple of weeks ago Brighton based trio Ditz released their latest track ‘The Warden‘. It’s a concise track that clocks in at just under two minutes, but it’s a driven track that has an intense energy to it. ‘The Warden’ is taken from Ditz debut album ‘The Great Regression’ which is set for release in 2022.

Speaking of the track, Cal Francis of Ditz has said: “Existing in music you meet a lot of incredibly talented people with very singular mindsets. I’ve seen lots of good friends really struggle to develop because of their intense focus on their output. The titular warden is a metaphor for this obsession and how it’s easy to let yourself be ruled by that mindset which can actually become a deceptively comfortable place.”
