Track of the Day #915: bdrmm – Port

Hull/Leeds based bdrmm recently returned with their first track since the release of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Bedroom’. ‘Port‘ sees the band take a darker turn with their music and it’s a drone-y, beat-driven slow-burner. It’s a track that becomes more hypnotic as it progresses.

Speaking of the track, Ryan Smith of bdrmm has said: “‘Port’ was written at the height of addiction. It comes from a place where you know you need to change but feel that you can’t. I wish I could come up with some profound meaning for what this track means, or what it is, but I’d just be lying. I was in a difficult place, and this was the end result.”
