Golden Touch Festival returns to Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms/Edge of the Wedge this Saturday (4th September) for a day full of the best in new and upcoming indie-pop bands/artists. 20 bands are set to play on the day with no clashes, so you haven’t got any excuse to miss anyone, but either way here are 5 of our top picks that you must see at Golden Touch Festival this weekend.

Sarpa Salpa

In brief: Northampton’s finest indie-pop band finally return to Southsea bringing their catchy indie pop to the Wedgewood Rooms this weekend.

The Covasettes

In brief: We saw Manchester based The Covasettes headline the Edge of the Wedge a few years back and were highly impressed by them based upon that. The band create lively and summery music.

Flowvers

In brief: Portsmouth indie-rock favourites Flowvers return to the Wedgewood Rooms bringing vibrant, catchy tunes with them.

BASH!

In brief: BASH! are a Southampton based indie-pop band who specialise in fun, chirpy pop music. We saw them live at Victorious Festival last weekend and highly recommend them based upon that too.
