Instrumental: Anti-Douleur – Beyrouth
This piece of instrumentation comes from saxophonist, drummer and guitarist Anti-Douler, a band who have never played in a room together thanks to 2020 being, well, 2020. ‘Beyrouth‘ is a free improvisation, narrative jazz piece that is about the Libanese capital city. It’s an intense piece of music that starts off with more relaxed saxophone parts which build into something chaotic and unsettling once the rest of the instrumentation joins in. This is one of the best pieces of instrumental music to tell a story without words.
