Supergroup of sorts, Manchester’s Sea Fever returned last week with their second track ‘Folding Lines‘! It’s darker than previous track ‘Crossed Wires‘, a bit more ambient but definitely more intense. It’s packed full of solid melodies and the more the track progresses, the more infectious it gets. ‘Folding Lines’ is the latest track taken from their forthcoming album of the same name that’s set for release this summer!
Speaking of the track Sea Fever have said: “Lyrically it’s a song about longing and promise, about returning to a place that connects you to your past. It links to the band name, both our singers come from seaside towns, so it’s quite a strong narrative for us. Musically it’s the most unique track on the album, we wanted it to be distinctive sounding, like a cross between a spaghetti western soundtrack and early 80’s New York dance music.”
