Discover: Air Cabin – Only One
This melancholy garage rock track ‘Only One‘ comes from Wisconsin based Air Cabin‘s debut album ‘I Don’t Wanna Dream’. This offering definitely wears its influences on its sleeve, but it’s a pleasant listen and the more monotonous side of ‘Only One’ hooks you in. The track has a warm, lo-fi feel to it that makes it instantly likeable.
Speaking of the track, Air Cabin has said: “The song is open to interpretation, lyrics tell the story of a dying elderly man who may be hallucinating or dreaming that he’s been abducted by aliens and being treated as their leader. I didn’t want to spell out what exactly all of the lyrics mean, many of them are a mystery to myself even but I choose them because they feel or sound right and have a dual or metaphorical meaning.”
