Mix It All Up’s Portsmouth Track of the Year 2020 – Vote Now!
As we approach the end of 2020 and the writing of our “end of year lists” is now in full swing (don’t worry, they’re not being finalised until next month) we decided to do something a bit different with one of our lists…
Last year, we created a mammoth list of the best of Portsmouth bands/artists 2019, but as we’ve got the #PortsmouthMusicScene playlist this year, we’re going to be a bit pickier with our selection with just 15 tracks making the final cut! There’s been so many brilliant tracks released by Portsmouth bands this year that it’s (once again) very hard to choose.
This year we want to get everyone involved in choosing Mix It All Up’s Portsmouth’s top track of 2020 and we want to hear from you! This is more for fun than anything else and (as of yet) there’s no prize other than the band/artist with the most votes will get an honorary position on the list as Mix It All Up’s people’s favourite. (Scroll to the bottom of this post for the voting form!)
In need of some inspiration? Here’s almost 6 hours of the best of the current Portsmouth Music Scene!
Alongside this, we are giving you the option to sign up to Mix It All Up’s forthcoming monthly newsletter which I’m aiming at starting early next year. The newsletter will be dedicated to the Portsmouth Music Scene and will keep you up to date with new music from the area plus eventually gig/festival news when these return.
For bands/artists to qualify, they must reside within the postcode areas PO1 – PO22 and, this goes without saying, the track voted for must have been released in 2020. Nonsense votes will be disregarded. This form will close on 19th December 2020 at 22:00 GMT, so please be sure to get your votes in by then and share this post far and wide in the mean time.
To register your vote for Mix It All Up’s Portsmouth Track of the Year and/or sign up to our mailing list, please fill out the form below! If this doesn’t work, you can fill the same form out by clicking here. Any email addresses collected on this form with the “no thank you” option checked will be 100% removed from our system before 30th December 2020 in line with GDPR guidance.
Thank you for all of your support over this strange year!
