Instrumental: SVVN – Remnants of Land

Remnants of Land‘ is the first single taken from Tennessee based artist SVVN‘s two-part ocean themed EP! It’s an ambient instrumental track that’s full of atmospheric, drone-y instrumentation that’s as vast and expansive as the ocean. ‘Remnants of Land’ is an incredibly tranquil, relaxing track that’s meditative in a way and it finishes up as quite a euphoric piece.

Speaking of this track, SVVN has said: “Last year, I spent six weeks in Costa Rica, exploring the country, recording audio samples from local destinations and writing music as an audio journal. Every morning, I would walk a mile and a half to Playa Conchal and swim to a nearby reef where I could dive twelve feet down and hold onto the rocks as the waves swayed my body back and forth. The song’s music represents how peaceful it felt to be out of control and part of something greater happening in the universe. If you listen carefully, you can hear the sound of the Conchal waves moving in and out.”
