Discover: Bed Scene – Honeymoon

This rather charming track comes from Florida based band Bed Scene! ‘Honeymoon‘ is a lo-fi pop track with hints of nostalgia as well as melancholy strewn throughout. Initially, I wasn’t overly fond of the muffled production on this, but the more I listened to it I realised the warmth it adds to the track just works. ‘Honeymoon’ has an instantly recognisable synth riff that is both catchy and has a certain longing to it

Speaking of the track, Bed Scene have said “Based on a true story, ‘Honeymoon’ is a song written about the naive feeling of “love at first sight” – being “head over heels” for someone and the aching realisation that sometimes those feelings, although beautiful, are not realistic or unattainable.”
