Local Band of the Day: Hallan

HallanIn brief

Hallan are one of the best post-punk bands to come out of Portsmouth music scene over the past few years! The four-piece create music that is jam-packed full of catchy riffs, lyrics and attitude. Hallan are a must-see live, at least when gigs return anyway! ‘Habit‘ is insane live with hooks so catchy it’ll be stuck in your head for days, whilst ‘Yesterday (With Him)‘ is a stadium-sized tune.

Hallan recently signed to Nice Swan Records and released their latest single ‘Modern England‘ via them. The track since went on to be playlisted by BBC6 Music and also played on BBC Radio 1 amongst other national airplay.
