Track of the day #628: Max Mason – A Door Without a Room

Max Mason - A Door Without a RoomNo drums? No problem.

London based musician Max Mason has proved that you can create a track, an ingenious one at that, using items around the house as percussion. Using everything from a shopping basket, a sizzling pan, a Henry Hoover, Noel Gallagher endorsed scissors and more. ‘A Door Without a Room‘ is brought to life. It’s quite a minimal, electronic-pop track otherwise with bumble-y as well as sparse synth use combined with moody vocals. The video is also a must-see regarding how the track came together.
