Track of the day #626: Rila’s Edge – Cause and Effect

Guildford based indie-rock band Rila’s Edge returned this week with their second single ‘Cause and Effect‘. The track kicks off with a catchy, fluttery riff but it’s the powerful chorus that gives ‘Cause and Effect’ real bite. This track is just as explosive and energetic as the band’s debut offering ‘Broken Ties‘ which was out just over a month ago. One for fans of both We Are Scientists and Pigeon Detectives.

Speaking of the track, the band have said: “The song is written about a friend of the band who’s parents were going through a divorce and what effect this had on his own personal relationships.”
