Fresh: Great Crane – Solar Panels

‘Solar Panels‘ is the debut single from Brooklyn based band Great Crane and it’s quite a laid-back, lo-fi offering. Alongside delicate guitar melodies, the vocals throughout ‘Solar Panels’ have a slight hushed, whisper-y quality to them with that gives the track its charming feel. ‘Solar Panels’ is a minimal track for the most part but warm, new melodies explode into the tracks captivating chorus.

The track sees Great Crane’s songwriter Eli Recht-Appel’s reflect on his relationship to his family’s home in San Francisco after learning that his father had been diagnosed with cancer. However, you’ll be glad to hear that Recht-Appel’s father has now been cancer free for a year.
