Portsmouth based experimental, post-punk band Web have released their long-awaited first track online in the form of audio-visual offering ‘RMS Titanic‘. The track starts off, quite fittingly, with a calm before the storm before becoming more industrial and increasingly chaotic. It’s a dramatic, angular piece which if described would sound completely wrong on paper, but it works in true Web fashion. ‘RMS Titanic’ has been one of the pillars of the bands mind-bending live performances over the past year.
Web are best experienced live and you can do so at the following gigs over the next couple of months:
27th December 2019 – Lord John Russell’s, Southsea
4th January 2020 – Portsmouth Guildhall Studio’s w/Slug Money, Dad Hair and Ban Summers [tickets]
2nd February 2020 – Edge of the Wedge, Portsmouth – supporting Skinny Milk
3rd February 2020 – The Joiners, Southampton
