Track of the day #544: The Covasettes – Twit Twoo

I’m not quite sure how I managed to pass this by, but I think this might be one of the best indie-pop tracks released this year. Back in July, Manchester’s The Covasettes released their debut EP ‘It’s Always Sunny Above The Clouds’ featuring this track. ‘Twit Twoo‘ is an upbeat with bags of energy as well as playful riffs. Also, it went down brilliantly last week when they headlined the Edge of the Wedge, Portsmouth.
The Covasettes are currently in the middle of touring the country and they’ve got the following dates left:
25th Sept – Lending Room Leeds
26th Sept – Café Totem, Sheffield
27th Sept – Riverside 2, Newcastle
29th Sept – Broadcast, Glasgow
