In the heart of the Hampshire countryside, Wickham Festival returns for its 2019 edition on the weekend of 1st – 4th August. Wickham Festival boasts four stages which bring established, touring musicians as well as the best in upcoming, local bands to the village. The Proclaimers, Level 42, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls and Gilbert O’Sullivan are all set to headline the festival across the weekend. It’s not just the music though, there’s a whole range of family entertainment to enjoy across the weekend from puppet theatre’s to a digital funfair, storytelling and more. This year, the Quay West stage returns showcasing a whole host of local talent and here are six of the bands you definitely shouldn’t be missing on their stage over the weekend.
