Fresh: The Ninth Wave – Used To Be Yours
The Ninth Wave are back with news of a two-part album set for release this year as well as brand new single ‘Used To Be Yours‘. The Glasgow quartet have been quickly gathering pace up to this point with critical acclaim and must-see live reputation. ‘Used To Be Yours’ furthers the bands progression and sees bassist Millie Kidd on lead vocals for the first time. It’s a slow-burner for the most part and even slightly mellower than previous offerings but the track still has the blue print of what makes The Ninth Wave so unique.
Speaking of the track, Millie Kidd from the band has said: “the song is set in the No Man’s Land that you find yourself in after a relationship ends, where you still feel like you have some sort of possession over each other. It reflects upon the inability to find comfort in one’s own company.”
‘Used To Be Yours’ is taken from the first part of The Ninth Wave’s forthcoming debut album ‘Intimacy’ which is set for release on 26th April with the second part of the album set for release on 15th November.
