Instrumental: Red Tail – Gloom

Born out of the frustration with modern EDM and production techniques, ‘Gloom‘, the first track from Red Tail sees sound-designer and synthesist Ryan Ehresman turn to 70’s analogue gear. In an attempt to break away from same-y electronic music, Red Tail has set out on a path to break trends with a series of six music videos which are going to be released over the coming weeks. ‘Gloom’ is the first in the series and with bubbling basslines and floaty, almost vocal melody synth lines, it does everything but live up to its name. It’s concise and makes you want to hear more in the series of this audio/visual project as soon as possible.
