Track of the day #445: Automatism – Propeller Propulsion

A strikingly fresh take on the blueprint set by Neu’s classic, ‘Hallogallo’. The latest track from Swedish instrumental rock band Automatism is ‘Propeller Propulsion‘ and it’s huge. Quite literally as well as it’s a 12 minute long monster of a track, but well worth sitting through the whole thing (found here). The synth and guitar melodies interlock perfectly with the steady, driving beat throughout the track. It’s a track which wears its influences on its sleeve but it still manages to hold its own.
