‘Heaps‘ is the first track taken from These Guy‘s self-titled debut EP which is set for release later this year. The Vancouver band relocated from Australia in the hope of finding new inspiration away from familiarity and ‘Heaps’ is the first track beyond the band’s move. Beginning with sawing, rhythmic synth melodies, it definitely shows a fresh sense of direction. Combining psych pop with something a bit more danceable, underpinned by ambiguous sparkling synths and various catchy guitar riffs appearing towards the end of the track.
