Fresh: Starterjacket – Wentin
Fuzzy and immensely chaotic, ‘Wentin‘ by Philadelphia based band Starterjacket dwells on abrasive guitars, both jangly and harsh. Although the instrumentation feels a bit messy in places, it’s all pulled together by the vocal delivery which forms two cohesive peaks throughout the track. Surprisingly melodic for its style, the track’s experimental side shines through the very few reverb filled gaps that remain. Following a courageous outcry, ‘Wentin’ draws towards a weary end, losing pace before giving up completely.
