Track of the day #387: October Drift – All Broken Down

Just ahead of their three gig run supporting Editors this week, October Drift are back with latest, and long-awaited brand new track ‘All Broken Down‘. Building itself into October Drift’s signature epic style, the track first starts on a gloomy, melancholy note before escalating into something a lot more upbeat before various crescendo’s of chaos occur. Thick, humming guitars take up most of the space as the track progresses filling the track with thrashing riffs and layers of reverb throughout these moments. Fun fact: ‘All Broken Down’ was “written whilst trying to sleep at Bristol Temple Meads station at 4 in the morning”.

October Drift are also out on tour throughout April with dates as following. As one of our favourite live bands over the last few years, you’d be silly to miss out! Tickets for the following gigs are available here.

10th April – LONDON, BIRTHDAYS
