Track of the day #338: 1955 – Glory Days

Following on from San Fransisco based band 1955‘s track of the year for us, their track ‘Glory Days‘ also deserved a honourable mention. With hints of rock ‘n’ roll tinged with a garage rock edge and just the right amount of piano, ‘Glory Days’ is a unique, succinct and punchy track. Confident vocals swan through the track alongside more laid-back percussion including hand-claps. 1955 prove that they can once again write a snappy alternative-rock track.

The last track of the day for 2017! Roll on 2018 and I hope that everyone reading this has a brilliant New Year! Thank you to everyone who has supported the blog this year regardless of whether this is the first post you’ve read or you’re a regular reader.
