Track of the day #260 : Swine Tax – Brittle

Swine Tax are a three piece from Newcastle and their track ‘Brittle‘s lo-fi, melancholic sound has a glimmering euphoria to it. The track’s breakdown is also something else, the strolling riff builds before erupting back into the urgency built up during the rest of ‘Brittle’. The lyrics will break your heart, but this dreamy, but gloomy track will be the brightest DIY track you’ve heard this week.

Swine Tax have recently supported the likes of The Orielles, FLING and Glass Caves and have various gigs coming up in the North East over the coming months.
