Life announce debut album as well as brand new single ‘In Your Hands’

Life’s debut album ‘Popular Music’ is set for release on May 26th with new single ‘In Your Hands’ taken from the forthcoming album being previewed today.

The Hull punks spent a brief period recording the album towards the end of last year before heading out on a European/UK tour supporting Slaves.

Speaking of the album, Mez from the band has said: “Popular Music sounds like panic and anxiety, it’s the sound of shitting it about whatever happens next week, about what you can weigh through on the self-checkout to get your beans cheaper. It’s an LP made up of the psyche of everyone who can see they’re getting fucked and there’s a lot of people getting fucked right now.”

In Your Hands‘ is punchy, sharp, angsty and to the point, whilst getting its point across in just under two minutes, giving us an almighty taster from the album in just that short amount of time alone.

Popular Music‘ by Life’s track listing is as follows:

1. In Your Hands
2. Sugar God
3. Go Go Go
4. Rare Boots
