Tracks of the week #195 – #200

Here are Mix It All Up’s tracks of the week (starting 02/03/2017) including the likes of Anteros, Oddnesse, Her’s and more!

You can find our full playlist of our tracks of the week from March 2017 by clicking here.

#195: Anteros – Drunk

Funky, dynamic and guitar riff-heavy, the latest track from Anteros, ‘Drunk‘ is just a taster of what we can expect from their EP (of the same name) which is set for release on 14th April. The band have just completed a run of dates across the country with Two Door Cinema Club and are currently touring alongside White Lies.

#196: Circa Waves – Stuck

I was pretty much sold on this track from the word go. Circa Waves latest track, ‘Stuck‘ has hints of typical indie tracks from the mid-2000’s whilst still retaining originality, mainly from its vocal delivery. With soaring guitars and catchy hooks, it’s bound to get ‘Stuck’ in your head.

#197: AK/DK – Lagom

AK/DK are an analogue synth duo based in Brighton and ‘Lagom‘ is the first single taken from the band’s upcoming second album which is set for release later this year. The track combines sharp, angular drumming with clear-cut synths and urgent vocals creating a rather punchy sound.

#198: Todavia – Our Luck

Todavia is the dream pop, solo project of multi-instrumentalist, Rhyan Riesgo from Los Angeles.’Our Luck‘ is taken from the upcoming full-length release by Todavia and is awash with hazy reverb which accompanies luminescent drums, dreamy vocals and gloomy lyrics.

#199: Oddnesse – Incoming Call

There’s not too much information out there on Oddnesse, but she’s releasing a series of singles, one at a time, with ‘Incoming Call‘ being the second of four. ‘Incoming Call’ is mellow, with a dreamy feel to it. It’s light, yet the choruses bring depth to the track when it’s joined by fuzzy, hazy guitars.

#200: Her’s – Speed Racer

Her’s are a surf-pop duo hailing from Liverpool whose latest track ‘Speed Racer‘ is taken from their upcoming “extended” EP, ‘Song’s of Her’s’ which is being released on May 12th. The track is full of funky guitars, melodic bass-riffs and just all round good, summer-y vibes.
