Mix it all up - White Lies friends deluxe release

This latest release of the album (available now) includes never heard before tracks including ‘Friends’, ‘Give A Sign’, ‘What I Need’ and ‘Where Do I Go?’

The band have just completed a North American headline tour and are just about to set out on a UK tour, having just announced various shows in Europe following this.

Speaking of the deluxe release of ‘Friends’, White Lies bassist Charles Cave says:”We wrote nearly two-dozen songs in the year leading up to the recording of ‘Friends’. Harry and myself worked every day through the seasons even after we had enough material for a double album. So these four we are releasing now aren’t B-sides. They’re songs which, perhaps even given a different time or mood, could have sat comfortably on the album.”

“The title track ‘Friends’ – perhaps notable in its absence from the album – is the most ‘out-there’ piece of music we’ve recorded, and ‘What I Need’ is certainly the fastest! We’re so thrilled to share these with our fans.”

The deluxe version of ‘Friends’ by White Lies is available to hear digitally via Spotify and for purchase digitally right now.
