Pond announce new album and share new video

Pond have detailed new album, The Weather which is set for release on May 5th alongside new video for latest track ‘Sweep Me Off My Feet’.

The Weather is set to be a concept album with Nicholas Allbrook saying “it’s not completely about Perth, but focusing on all the weird contradictory things that make up a lot of colonial cities around the world.”

“On the edge of the world with a hell of a lot of fucked things defining our little city, still we try and live a wholesome respectful life, while being inherently disrespectful.”

The album has been produced by Tame Impala’s Keven Parker who also produced their last album, ‘Man, It Feels Like Space Again’.

The Weather by Pond will be released on May 5th and can be pre-ordered digitally here and you can watch/listen to latest track ‘Sweep Me Off My Feet’ below.

The band are also playing at London’s Moth Club on February 14th.
