Little Comets share brand new track from forthcoming album.

Little Comets have shared brand new track ‘Common Things’ which is taken from their upcoming album ‘Worhead’ which is set for release on February 3rd.

unnamed-4‘Common Things’ is rather unique with syncopated beats, warm vibes and unusual percussion, the band have a real DIY ethic and this comes across more than ever on this latest track.

The dynamic percussion throughout ‘Common Things’ has been created from a mixture of a djembe, a bottle, a bike pump and a bit snapped off an old snare drum.

Speaking of the track, lead guitarist, Rob Coles says “Me and Mickey (as usual) wrote this one in his garage after Mickey had been playing a really obscure riff, which we adapted for the chorus melody. The verses came later as the need for a narrative became apparent.”

“I think what helped is that the chorus line paints a real picture of what the verses should be about.”
