As the band return to their original label home, Suicide Squeeze Records, Minus The Bear are back with their 6th album release, entitled ‘Voids‘ marking the first LP release from the band in six years.
‘Voids’ is set for release on 3rd March with the first LP pressing (1,000 copies) being available on electric blue vinyl and also splatter colour vinyl as well as a limited run of cassettes.
The Seattle based band have been creating music on their own terms over the past 15 years and over that time have sold 500k records whilst playing to sell out crowds across the world.
‘Voids’ is said to have started from a blank slate and speaking on the new album, guitarist David Knudson has said that “There was a lot of change and uncertainty. The general vibe of emptiness, replacement, lacking, and longing to fill in the gaps was very present in everyones’ minds.”
