Track of the day #140 : Temples Of Youth – Divide
Temples Of Youth are Winchester based, upcoming, electronic duo, Jo Carson and Paul Gumma, whose sound combines atmospheric soundscapes with powerful vocals. Their first three tracks ‘Enso’, ‘Dunes’ and ‘Churches’ received a great reception from BBC Introducing, The British Music Council and even Frank Turner. Their latest track ‘Divide‘ (which is out today) is a powerful continuation to this and solidifies them as a band to watch out for in 2017.
‘Divide’ is a track that was written with frustration at the current political climate and the fallout of the recent referendum in mind. The doom and gloom from the issues the track covers is uplifted by glistening guitars amongst airy synths.
