Track of the day #133 : Sad Palace – Rainbow Melt
Sad Palace are a Portsmouth based alternative rock band who have recently put their superb debut track ‘Rainbow Melt‘ online. The track will be released on limited edition cassette on December 7th.
‘Rainbow Melt’ has a colourfulness and warmth about it in general, with parts that are both dreamy and then lucid. This sounds like it shouldn’t work, but it couldn’t be more perfect! The vocals have an air of confidence and seductiveness about them as they drift effortlessly throughout ‘Rainbow Melt’. The track has even been compared to the likes of Tame Impala and Temples.
You can listen to ‘Rainbow Melt’ by Sad Palace below via Soundcloud and also find the band on both Facebook and Twitter. You can see the band live supporting Teleman at Wedgewood Rooms on Monday 31st October 2016.
