Track of the day #86 : Dead Natives – The Love I Have

Back with a new line-up, Dead Natives, a London based, alternative rock band are back stronger than ever with latest single ‘The Love I Have‘. The band were also our track of the day earlier this year with ‘Smoking Gun’ and you can see what we had to say by clicking here.

‘The Love I Have’ has the makings of an indie anthem with rugged melodic guitars throughout, brazen lyrics of love, loss and confusion alongside vocals which exude confidence throughout. This is then also accentuated by the exquisite and perfectly placed short lead guitar melodies/riffs as the track progresses. The bands sound has matured and improved since previous release ‘Smoking Gun’.

Dead Natives also have a few London gigs coming up including tonight (28th June) at The Monarch, Camden and the following :

6th July at Undersolo, Camden
17th July at Alleycat, Denmark street

12th August at Hope and Anchor, Islington
17th September at o2 Academy 2, Islington

‘The Love I Have’ by Dead Natives is now available to purchase (name your price) digitally via Bandcamp by clicking here or you can listen to the track via Soundcloud below.
