In an attempt to raise awareness of the impact of the current pandemic on musicians worldwide, Bandcamp have kindly waived their usual fees to put much needed money directly back into artists pockets. Over the past day, I’ve compiled a list of 9 local bands who all have music on Bandcamp and have all had gigs cancelled/postponed. I’ve seen all of the following bands live and they’re all brilliant, so please consider supporting them in any way you can.
Please note, Bandcamp’s fundraiser will run from 7am on Friday 20th until 7am Saturday 21st March (or midnight Friday 20th for 24 hours Pacific time).
