Track of the day #595: Talk Show – Stress

Talk Show - Stress

A year can change a lot and it’s been enough to cement Talk Show as one of the most promising, upcoming post-punk bands of the moment. The band recently released their latest single ‘Stress‘, a track taken from their forthcoming EP and I think it’s Talk Show’s best track yet. ‘Stress’ is a melodic track with lively guitar parts, tense vocals and an undeniably punk energy to it.

Speaking of the track, the band have said: “When writing ‘Stress’ it instantly felt like a song with a lot of heart and a larger than life attitude. It’s a song about modern love with its emotions and lyrics, worn proudly on its sleeves.”

“Instantly it felt natural to play ‘Stress’ as large and as loud as we possibly could. The first time we ever played that song, I remember it feeling like it had a life of it’s own, it really wanted to burst out of the basement we were in.”

‘Stress’ is taken from Talk Show’s debut EP which is set for release on 27th March 2020. The band will also be playing some shows in support of this release:
