Track of the day #564: Colour of the Jungle – Humble Bee
It’s rare that I like tracks the first time I hear them, but as soon as I heard this live last week, I knew it’d end up as one of our tracks of the day.
‘Humble Bee‘ is the latest track from Portsmouth based Colour of the Jungle and it’s a slow-burner that turns into something quite epic from its, er, humble acoustic beginnings. It’s quite a monotonous track for the most part, but its lively, evolving guitar parts build the track throughout.
‘Humble Bee’s lyrics shine a light on the current environmental climate and all proceeds from the track will be donated to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
