Track of the day #412: Terra Pines – Kidult

Self-confessed sludgepop trio Terra Pines have just released the first cut from their self-titled debut album which is set for release in May and it’s a haven full of hazy, fuzzy but pop-y goodness. ‘Kidult‘ is lively with sparkling melodies throughout but keeps itself weighted down with melancholic, monochrome vocals. With hints of something more industrial and chaotic in places, it’s a track that has both garage and more grunge-y influences but also maintains a slight jangle-pop edge.
