Say hello to Portsmouth’s newest band, Drusila. To say it’s brave to perform your debut gig at the legendary Wedgewood Rooms would be an understatement, but take our word for it, Drusila are a trio whose powerful indie pop tracks are set to wow the crowd at the venue on the 24th February. The band have released two singles so far, ‘Something For Nothing’ and BBC Introducing South championed latest track ‘Forget’. There’s something slightly mysterious about the band so far though and Drusila have an aesthetic that could give The 1975 a run for their money, but you’ll have to find out more about the band by seeing them live.
Support on the night comes from Portsmouth favourites Eyes To The Skies whose indie tracks will charm. Four Folds Law also join them on the night and are one of our personal favourites at the moment. Support also comes from Koala, a band who are completely new to us but the band released their debut single ‘Backbiting’ back in January and seem like a rather fun band.
The show is certainly not one to be missed and is a jam-packed night of great indie local bands, so get your tickets for only £5 here now.
We also take submissions for ‘Not To Be Missed’! Got a gig coming up that no one should be missing? Hit us up over at firstname.lastname@example.org !
