Western Scene‘s latest track ‘Strange But True‘ is cinematic and dreamy but with an anxious bassline keeping it grounded throughout. It’s somehow calming whilst still managing to keep you on edge in an actually reassuring way throughout. Combining indie pop with surf-rock and even shoegaze, ‘Strange But True’ keeps you hooked throughout with its explosive choruses and chugging guitars. Once again, the Los Angeles based indie pop/rock band proving once again that they have what it takes to write a powerful, yet modest rock track.
