Fresh: Telete – Basketball Boy
There’s something melancholy about ‘Basketball Boy‘, the latest track from Perth, Australia based synth-gaze duo, Telete. With mellow vocals and drifting synths, a sadness and even a longing is created throughout the track. Various punchy strings start to build the track towards the end adding a slightly positive direction to the track contrasting the previous sorrowful, but meandering side to the track. Whilst being somewhat downbeat, ‘Basketball Boy’ has various pop sensibilities throughout.
